Meet Mama P.

me in Munich before heading to Oktoberfest, drinking my VERY FIRST German beer ever.

That's me. I'm Mama P. Michelle, to you. I'm (obviously) a homeschool mom, but I'm also a public school mom! My oldest, Bay, is a freshman in high school. Tuna is a fifth grader, and my sole homeschooled child.

I'm an Army wife, too, and we're currently stationed in Bavaria, Germany. We move a lot, and we've even got a move coming up this summer, location TBD.

I love to travel. Living in Germany has given me the travel bug, and although I'm sad to be leaving this summer, I'm also excited to take my travel skills stateside. Living abroad has armed me with a new toolbox for travel.

My hobbies include crafting and cooking, reading, and writing. This November, I'm taking part in my very first NaNoWriMo!

I'm a secular homeschooler who believes a child should have a say in his or her education, and that interest-led learning fuels passions and encourages creative growth.

It's lovely to have you here.
